The staff were so friendly towards me when I first arrived, greeting me with warm smiles and a professional approach. I didn't catch the lady's name unfortunately but when I was checking out I spoke to a gentleman named Johnathon, who again had a brilliant approach. The building itself is very beautiful and impressive to look at, and the inside was immaculately clean and presentable. My room was equally perfect, with everything clean, tidy and stocked. There was a great view from my room as well, and I was very pleased with the broad functionality of the TV in the room, which allows you to cast your phone to it, which I used when I couldn't find anything on that I wanted to watch. The bed was very comfortable, and it was great to have such a good air con system in the room itself as it made it easy to make it comfortable. There were works going on on the hot water that day, but this was well advised when I first got there, with timings that things would be unavailable so no nasty surprises there. Whilst I didn't get anything from the bar myself, I heard a number of interactions going on whilst waiting to speak to the reception staff, and again it was clear that the staff working there were of just as top quality as those I did speak to. They provided service quickly and efficiently with a polite and professional approach. I always like to see things like that, as whilst it does not impact me directly, it gives a good sense of what the general vibe is like when all the staff act with the same professionalism. Finally, it was great that the car park is included with the stay itself, as I have had to pay £50-60 for a weekend at a Hilton before. I always appreciate it when the hotel can go that little bit further in their accommodations, as it makes my life so much easier when travelling with a lot of bags from far away. I had booked an extra day in case I was going to stay longer than planned, but I ended up leaving what was technically a day early.

My stay was amazing. It was myself and my son Josh who came to stay for the one night. Josh is autistic and suffers from complex epilepsy. Once the hotel found out about my son's condition they did absolutely everything to make our stay a happy and easy one. I explained my son likes a view from his room so the lady ( Kea ) on reception without hesitation said she would make a room available on the fifth floor for us which my son loved. Dining can be a daunting experience for us but we were again looked after, this time James took us and placed us in a pod on our own where we had our own TV. Josh felt safe and was relaxed. James was lovely with Josh and interacted really well with him throughout. Josh's diet can also be a stumbling block when dining out but again James along with the head chef worked with us to make something that was tailored for Josh's taste. I can't recommend this hotel enough. Our stay was amazing and we have already booked in for a further two nights next week. Thank you so much

The hotel was pristine and had comfortable places to sit and have a coffee from the Starbucks cafe or the Scholars restaurant to have a meal. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was great and very peaceful - out of the city but with a good bus service in. There are lovely walks from the hotel into the countryside.. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower room was also good though the shower itself was not very powerful, possibly because we were on the 5th floor. All in all a very good location for a stay in Stoke or Newcastle. We very much enjoyed our visit

Sandra

The hotel is located at the entrance to Keele University. 30 years after graduating, we decided to check out all the changes. All impressive. That includes the hotel. We usually stay at Hilton Hampton hotels. This was similar.....but better. All immaculate with really good staff. Breakfast had all the usual fare.....but with extras. eg. hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds Car parking was directly in front of the hotel and appeared to be safe and secure. Access to the M6 was easy. Really enjoyed our short stay. Thanks. The outside space looked really good and I hope we will be able to return in the Summer.

I stay here a great deal and have returned often. Not because of the facility, bit the kindness and hospitality shown to me by the staff. I talk a great deal, as I am on my own all week, and when I chat to the staff they honestly look as if they care about what I am saying and not just being nice because it is their job. Kia, Johnathan, izzy and eilda( sorry for any wrong spelling) greet you when you arrive. Kia has always the biggest smile and they all are friendly. In the dining room you will find Marcin and all the others who are fantastic. I could go on for hours but I will leave it there.
